View of the Train and railway during a test drive of the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv express train (Hadas Parush/Flash90)
MK Yisrael Katz, Minister of Transportation, visits the railway connecting Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, in its final stages of construction. The line is supposed to be completed within three months to allow the beginning of service on March 30th, with Passover around the corner. Katz wants to name the line “The King David Railway,” a reference to the train’s ability to take people from other parts of the nation and bring them to the Holy City of Jerusalem.
