WATCH: Beach cleanup along Mediterranean coast tackles pollution in Israel

Volunteers cleaned up plastic bottles and debris along the shore of Herzliya, a city just north of Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv shoreline was cited in a World Wildlife Fund report last week as being “the third most plastic polluted shoreline in the Mediterranean,” i24news reports.
