The everyday people of Iran no longer buy into the ideologies that brought in the Islamic Revolution in 1979 and are eager for reform, according to journalist Tara Kangarlou. Despite the stifling of basic freedoms in the last 40 years, women have managed to thrive and are leading the effort for change, she says.
