4 Palestinian terrorists killed in Gaza ‘work accident’

Four Palestinian terrorists were killed in Gaza when a terror-related explosive charge they were carrying went off prematurely.

Four Palestinian terrorists were killed in Gaza on Saturday when the vehicle they were riding in exploded, the apparent result of a terror-related explosive charge that went off prematurely.

The Islamic Jihad terror organization said four of its members were killed in a “work accident” in the Gaza Strip along the border with Israel.

The explosion destroyed a three-wheeled vehicle near one of the protest camps Palestinians have set up along the Gaza-Israel border in recent weeks.

The Islamic Jihad admitted all four were killed “during preparations” without elaborating, implying they were preparing an attack against Israel.

The IDF said it was unaware of any activity in the area of the blast. It has also repeatedly warned that the violent riots on the border were being used as camouflage for terror acts.

This incident comes a day after another mass gathering along the border area in which thousands of Palestinians, some burning Israeli flags and torching tires, staged a protest against Israel.

It also occurred amid the daily violence on the Israel-Gaza border, orchestrated by Hamas, the Islamic terror group that rules the Gaza Strip and calls for Israel’s destruction.

Hamas has organized a series of protests at the border under the “March of Return” banner, which the terrorist group says will continue until May 15, the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, which the Palestinians observe as Nakba Day, meaning Day of Catastrophe.

Some 30 Palestinians, mostly terrorists, have been killed in over two weeks of clashes on the Gaza border.
