Another report has surfaced, exposing what may be a close collaboration between Hamas in Gaza and ISIS in Sinai.

The Hamas Palestinian terrorist organization has reportedly been funding the Islamic State (ISIS) branch in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula in exchange for help with smuggling weapons production materials into the Gaza Strip.
Hamas is reportedly paying ISIS fighters for shipments of explosive propellant material that Hamas needs in order to produce rockets, Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Monday.
This report on Hamas’s cooperation with ISIS in the Sinai comes after an earlier report that the Sinai’s ISIS commander, Shadi al-Menei, secretly met with Gaza-based Hamas leaders in early December in order to expand their cooperation to launch more attacks against Egypt and Israel.
Al-Menei and leaders of Hamas’s military wing were reportedly discussing the ongoing supply of weapons sought by Hamas, which tyrannically governs Gaza. Hamas in return supplied ISIS with logistical support and weapons, including Cornet anti-tank missiles that have been used against the Egyptian military.
Hamas has lost its supply routes of weapons and materials due to an Israeli blockade and as a result to an Egyptian campaign to destroy its smuggling tunnels running out of the Sinai.
It is forced to produce its rockets domestically, and requires various materials to do so.
Israel has prevented multiple attempts to smuggle weapons-making materials Hamas needs to rebuild its military infrastructure, in preparation for another war against Israel.
