‘Bibi is f—ing me’: Trump reportedly clashes with Netanyahu – report

A former Netanyahu media adviser and an unnamed senior Israeli official dismissed talk of a rift as “fake news.”

President Donald Trump is reportedly furious with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel’s airstrike on a Hamas compound in Qatar, with a new report stating that Trump used foul language while expressing his ire with the Israeli premier.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the American leader erupted in an expletive-laced tirade against Netanyahu during a meeting with senior advisers on how Washington should respond to the bombing.

Trump allegedly told top officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, that the Israeli strike put him in an extremely difficult diplomatic position.

Netanyahu “is f—ing me,” Trump was quoted by the Journal as saying behind closed doors.

Trump stopped short of harshly criticizing the Israeli leader in public, but he made it clear that he was unhappy with the strike on Qatar, which appears to have ultimately failed to assassinate top Hamas figures.

Former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren suggested Trump’s frustration stemmed more from the mission’s failure than from the strike itself.

“If our operation in Doha succeeded, Trump wouldn’t have condemned it; he would have taken credit for it,” Oren told the Journal.

Other Israeli officials, however, dismissed reports of tension. A senior Israeli government source called claims of a Trump-Netanyahu feud “fake news,” insisting the two leaders share an “excellent” relationship.

Omer Dostari, a former media adviser to Netanyahu, echoed that sentiment, saying Trump and Netanyahu are “very tight.” He suggested that reports of a rift were manufactured but did not explain who would benefit from promoting such a narrative.

Trump has previously used expletives when expressing his frustration with both Israeli and Iranian leaders.

At the conclusion of the Israel-Iran war in June, amid fears a fragile ceasefire could collapse, Trump told reporters, “Jerusalem and Tehran have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f— they’re doing.”
