Thousands of Jews from across the Netherlands are expected to rally in The Hague, in solidarity with the families pursuing legal means against Hamas.

The Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum, representing individuals of 136 Israelis abducted to the Gaza Strip by Hamas during the terrorist attacks on October 7, will file an official complaint against the leaders of the terror group at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in Hague, the Ynet news site reported on Saturday.

The complaint, which is the culmination of four months’ work by the Families Forum’s legal department, will be officially filed on Wednesday when about 100 family representatives, accompanied by a team of Israeli and international legal experts, travel to the Netherlands.

The complaint accuses Hamas of various serious offenses, including kidnappings, enforced disappearances, sexual violence, and torture, to obtain arrest warrants for the terror chiefs in a bid to secure the hostages’ release.

Thousands of Jews from across the Netherlands are expected to rally in The Hague, in solidarity with the affected families. Released hostages and the relatives of those still detained will provide testimony in court against Hamas.

Last week, a senior Israeli official said Israel had no intention to offer Hamas a counter deal in response to Hamas’ terms demanding a permanent ceasefire and the release of 1,500 Palestinian security prisoners, many of whom are serving life sentences for murdering Israelis, in return for the hostages.

“The main aim now is to create pressure from the Americans and other countries on Qatar, and from there on Hamas, in addition to the military pressure, to bring them down from their delusional demands,” he said.
