Israeli soldiers who raided the offices of a Hamas front group south of Jerusalem recently discovered Nazi propaganda materials and tens of thousands of shekels’ worth of terrorist funds.

According to a statement released by the IDF spokesperson’s unit on Thursday, forces from the Israeli army’s Judea Brigade carried out counter-terror operations south of Jerusalem.

During the operations this week, IDF paratroopers conducted a raid of a Hamas-linked organization in the city of Hebron.

The raid targeted the offices of an organization called the Islamic Charitable Society (ICS), a group that purports to provide humanitarian aid to local Palestinians but has been suspected of serving as a front for Hamas in Judea and Samaria.

According to the IDF, the Islamic Charitable Society in practice serves as an organizational arm of the Hamas terrorist organization, promoting incitement to terrorism and facilitating the recruitment and transfer of funds to finance terrorist activities under the Islamist group.

Israeli security forces targeted the Islamic Charitable Society’s offices in Hebron as part of a wider crackdown on terrorist financial infrastructure in the area and against the spread of materials inciting against Israel.

As part of the operation at the ICS office in Hebron, Israeli security personnel located and seized approximately 165,700 shekels in terrorist funds.

In addition, Israeli soldiers found a copy of an Arabic translation of Adolf Hitler’s 1925 manifesto, Mein Kampf, at the site, along with equipment used for producing and spreading anti-Israel propaganda, “including computers and technological devices, bags, documents, and more,” the IDF said.

The IDF forces involved in the raid then sealed the main door of the facility where the terrorist propaganda materials and funds were discovered.
