Human remains found at Oct. 7 massacre site in Kfar Aza

Nearly three years after the Hamas massacre, human remains including part of a skull were discovered in the devastated community of Kfar Aza, reopening one of the darkest chapters of October 7.

The remains were found by relatives of murdered resident Nirel Zini, whose head was severed by Hamas terrorists during the attack and never recovered. His body was laid to rest without his head, and his family now hopes the newly discovered remains will finally allow them to complete his burial.

Zini and his girlfriend, Niv Raviv, were murdered just days before he planned to propose to her. The discovery is a painful reminder of the brutality of the Hamas massacre, in which terrorists slaughtered 62 residents of Kfar Aza and kidnapped 19 others into Gaza.
