IDF forces operating over the course of Thursday night raided several targets in Judea and Samaria as part of their ongoing battle against Palestinian terror.
On Hamas’ 30-year anniversary since its founding on December 14, 1987, IDF forces raided two Palestinian universities, the Al Quds in Abu Dis and Birzeit near Ramallah, and on printing houses in Hebron that produce materials inciting to terrorism. The forces seized and confiscated banners, flags posters and other materials.
Israel maintains that one of the driving forces behind the wave of terror attacks is incitement by the Palestinian leadership and clergy through its state and local media.
“This operation is part of the security forces’ extensive efforts to combat all elements of terrorism, including incitement,” the IDF stated.
Israeli security will continue to combat incitement to terrorism with “the understanding that incitement constitutes a direct factor in generating terror attacks and supporting terrorism,” the IDF stated.
In related news, IDF forces arrested eight Palestinians wanted in connection with terrorism.
