The IDF has apparently stepped up its action against Hamas’ arson terrorists attacking the Jewish state.
On Sunday, an IDF aircraft fired towards a vehicle in Gaza that served a terrorist squad launching arson balloons.
In another strike on the same day, the IDF fired towards a terrorist squad that was launching arson balloons from the northern Gaza Strip into Israel.
The Palestinians have reported that three terrorists were wounded in the strikes.
Here is a video just seconds after the IDF attack in northern Gaza:
Gaza-based arson terrorists launched several fire balloons at Israel, which landed and ignited fires at several points inside Israel near the Strip.
On Saturday, a terrorist squad launched arson balloons from the southern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. In response, an IDF aircraft fired towards the squad.
Earlier in the day, terrorists launched arson balloons from the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. In response, an IDF aircraft fired towards the squad.
These attacks come after several days in which the IDF did not strike the arson terrorists from the air.
These incidents occurred amid reports that Hamas is approaching an agreement with Fatah, through the UN and Egypt, which would include the cessation of Hamas’ attacks on Israel, including the launching of fire kites and explosive balloons.
Over the past 140 days, Hamas’s ecological terrorism has burned approximately 7,400 acres (11.5 square miles) of agricultural lands, destroying nature preserves and natural habitats and causing millions of dollars of damage to Israeli farms.
The IDF has documented and exposed Hamas’ responsibility for the relentless wave of airborne arson attacks on Israel’s south, debunking the widely accepted notion that it is a popular and unorganized form of terrorism and that children are behind it.
“The Hamas terror organization deliberately conducts arson terror attacks in an organized manner,” the IDF stated in June. “Hamas leads the arson and explosive kites phenomenon; it orchestrates the launches and will bear the consequences for its actions.”
“The IDF will not allow this terror to threaten Israeli civilians and Israeli territory,” the IDF concluded.
