Iran will assassinate Trump, Netanyahu, Iranian lawmaker says

Iranian parliament member calls on Tehran to reject US peace talks, suggests Iran will assassinate senior American and Israeli leaders.

A hardline Iranian lawmaker suggested over the weekend that the Islamic Republic may assassinate senior American and Israeli leaders, including President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

On Saturday, MP Kamran Ghazanfari spoke with Didban Iran, lamenting efforts within the Iranian Foreign Ministry to engage in diplomacy with the United States and arguing that Iran should reject American overtures.

During the interview, Ghazanfari said that if Iran remains steadfast, the United States will be forced to cease its military operations in another month.

The ongoing talks with the Trump administration are “a complete mistake,” Ghazanfari said.

“We should not receive the enemy’s message at all, let alone respond to it. As long as the enemies do not accept defeat and do not surrender to the conditions of the Islamic Republic, we must continue this war, and the conditions are shaping up in favor of the Islamic Republic day by day, and every day, America and Israel suffer more defeats and more crushing blows.”

“If we do not show weakness and stand firm, America will either surrender in a month at most or withdraw all its forces from the region and permanently end its military presence in our region,” Ghazanfari continued.

The Iranian MP said that elements within the regime are already conspiring to have President Trump assassinated and endorsed efforts to murder either Trump or Prime Minister Netanyahu.

“Senior officials of the US government and the Zionist regime have committed crimes and have assassinated our Supreme Leader and some other commanders and senior officials, and one of the dimensions of our revenge is to bring these people to justice wherever we can get our hands on their senior officials; whether it be Trump or his vice president or Netanyahu or any other senior officials of the US and the Zionist regime.”

“Therefore, those who are campaigning in this way and trying to raise money to put a bounty on Trump’s head so that someone will kill these people are definitely doing a good job, and we approve of that.”

“Wherever we can reach Trump or other senior US and Israeli officials, we will send them to hell, and we are not joking or showing leniency in this matter.”
