IRGC threatens to attack major US companies

The IRGC identified 18 companies in its threat, including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla, and Boeing.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced Tuesday that US companies operating in the region could be targeted beginning April 1, framing the threat as a response to strikes against Iran, according to state media.

The warning named 18 companies, including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla, and Boeing, and indicated their regional facilities could face attacks. The statement included a specific timetable for when the threats could be carried out.

“These companies should expect the destruction of their respective units in exchange for each terror act in Iran, starting from 8 p.m. Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1,” the IRGC said.

The declaration marks an expansion of Iran’s stated targets beyond military and government entities to include US-linked commercial operations.

The companies named also included Cisco, HP, Intel, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Palantir, JPMorgan, Tesla, GE, Spire Solutions, Boeing, and UAE-based AI firm G42.

The threat comes after Iranian strikes earlier this month on AWS data centers in the Middle East, which disrupted multiple applications and digital services in the United Arab Emirates.

In recent years, US technology companies have expanded investments across the Middle East, particularly in AI infrastructure, drawn by lower energy costs and available land.

Separately, the US State Department said Tuesday it was monitoring reports of possible threats to sites in Saudi Arabia where Americans gather, including hotels, businesses, and educational institutions.

US citizens in the country were advised to remain in place until further notice.

The developments came as Israel’s military outlined its own operational timeline, announcing a Wednesday target date for completing strikes on key Iranian assets.

The IDF said the effort focuses on eliminating critical pre-war targets, including those posing immediate threats to Israel and components of Iran’s broader military-industrial infrastructure.
