Israeli forces continued operations against Hamas across the Gaza Strip, including approximately 120 airstrikes in the past 24 hours, the Israel Defense Forces said on Wednesday.
The IDF said the airstrikes targeted terror cells, military buildings, combat tunnels, booby-trapped buildings and other terror infrastructure.
In northern Gaza, troops continued operations to locate and destroy above-ground and underground terror infrastructures and to defend the area.
In Jabaliya, several Hamas terrorists spotted approaching soldiers were eliminated by aircraft.
In southern Gaza, ground troops destroyed several structures belonging to Hamas that threatened soldiers.
At least 1,180 people were killed, and 252 Israelis and foreigners were taken hostage in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on October 7.
Of the 50 remaining hostages, around 30 are believed to be dead.
