‘Kill all Jews’ – Beloved children’s character goes off script, calls for genocide of Jews

Antisemitic hacker seizes control over official X account for famed Sesame Street character, uses it to spread anti-Trump and antisemitic messages calling for genocide of all Jews worldwide.

The social media account of an iconic children’s show character was hijacked over the weekend and used to spread genocidal antisemitic messages before the account’s administrators were able to regain control.

On Sunday, the official X account of Elmo, a Muppet character from the television show Sesame Street, was hacked and used to post anti-Jewish, anti-Trump, and Jeffrey Epstein-related posts.

“Kill all Jews,” one post read. “Elmo says ALL JEWS SHOULD DIE. F*** Jews,” read another.

The hacked account posted messages demanding the Trump administration release all documents pertaining to disgraced financier and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, while accusing President Donald Trump of pedophilia.

The hacker also called the president a “puppet” of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“RELEASE THE FILES DONALD TRUMP CHILD F***ER.”

“DONALD TRUMP IS NETANYAHU’S PUPPET BECAUSE HE IS IN THE EPSTEIN FILES. JEWS CONTROL THE WORLD AND NEED TO BE EXTERMINATED.”

A spokesperson for the show confirmed to Fox News that the account had been “compromised” and used to post “disgusting messages.”

“Elmo’s X account was compromised today by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts. We are working to restore full control of the account,” the spokesperson said.

The offensive posts were removed within an hour and the account placed back under the administrators’ control, but not before the account, with nearly 650,000 followers, managed to gain international attention.

“I’m forever scarred… by Elmo,” Utah Senator Mike Lee wrote in response.

Congressman Jared Moskowitz (D-FL.) blamed the Trump administration’s defunding of PBS, which carries Sesame Street. “See what happens when you defund PBS @elmo.”

This is not the first time the character of Elmo was co-opted for bigoted public outbursts.

For years, homeless New York street performer Dan Sandler, sometimes referred to as the “Evil Elmo,” dressed up as the character to panhandle while also launching into anti-Jewish rants.

After being arrested in 2013 for attempting to extort the Girl Scouts, Sandler relocated to San Francisco, where he tweaked his message to focus on what he called Israeli “apartheid,” and he accused “Zionist interests” of targeting his panhandling activities.
