Far-left antisemitic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) accused President Donald Trump of covering up evidence of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes in a recent tweet, libelously insinuating that Trump had been involved in sexual assaults orchestrated by the disgraced pedophile financier.
“Wow who would have thought that electing a rapist would have complicated the release of the Epstein Files?” Ocasio-Cortez posted to social media platform X on Friday.
Ocasio-Cortez, who is often referred to by her nickname AOC, posted the tweet after the Justice Department said that it did not possess a list of Epstein’s clients, which it had previously said it would release to the public.
Legal analyst Phil Holloway noted that Ocasio-Cortez’s characterization of Trump as a “rapist” likely constitutes defamation.
“The President should sue AOC into bankruptcy. I realize she’s trying to raise her profile but this is way way too far,” Holloway wrote on X.
Responding to Ocasio-Cortez, Oklahoma Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin noted that the previous administration had been in possession of the same information about Epstein.
“Why didn’t you guys release the Epstein files over the last 4 years? Maybe you were too busy covering for Joe Biden… or, could it have something to do with another former Democrat President?” Mullin wrote.
Several other Trump allies, including Laura Loomer, noted that Trump recently won a $15 million lawsuit against ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, who referred to the president as a rapist.
“AOC likes to play pretend like she’s from the block, but in reality she’s just a sad, miserable blockhead who is trying to overcompensate for her lack of self-confidence that has followed her for her entire life,” White House communications director Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital on Sunday.
“Instead, she should get some serious help for her obvious and severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted her pea-sized brain,” he added.
