Number of aid trucks entering Gaza hits all-time high

The Israeli agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) reported that 271 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip yesterday – Sunday, February 4. This marked the highest number of humanitarian aid trucks inspected and transferred in one day since the start of the war in Gaza.

Of these, 112 aid trucks were inspected at the Nitzana crossing and transferred to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing (between Egypt and Gaza) and 159 aid trucks were inspected and transferred via the Kerem Shalom crossing. 180 trucks carried food.

7 packages of medical supplies were airdropped by Jordan and the Netherlands, designated for medical facilities in the Gaza Strip.

4 tankers of cooking gas designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the Gaza Strip.

62 foreign nationals are coordinated for exit from Gaza on Monday.

A second waterline connecting the Egyptian side of Rafah to the Gazan side of Rafah was successfully connected. This is a project carried out by the United Arab Emirates and is expected to supply water to residents of the southern part of Gaza.

The coordination of the repair of vital infrastructure was completed.
