Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew to Paris on Saturday night to participate in the peace conference marking the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.

Netanyahu is slated to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the danger posed by the Iranian nuclear program and Tehran’s involvement in the Middle East as well as the Hezbollah’s armaments buildup, including the establishment of an Iranian precision missile factory in Lebanon.

Netanyahu may also meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S. President Donald Trump.

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah warned that Hezbollah will “inevitably respond” to any attack against Lebanon and “will not accept any underestimation by the enemy” of his group’s power, “as it used to do in the past.”

In a televised speech marking Hezbollah Martyr’s Day on Saturday, Nasrallah stressed that the “source of our strength are our missiles because the Lebanese army is not allowed to acquire advanced missiles.”

Nasrallah was responding to reports of Israel’s warning to the Lebanese government, through U.S. and European intermediaries, that it was preparing to attack the terror group in order to prevent it from acquiring advanced missiles.

Hezbollah “has a tremendous rocket capability and the enemy will not dare to attack Lebanon because of this power,” Nasrallah underscored, adding that any attack will “be faced automatically.”

Various estimates put Hezbollah’s overall rocket and missile stockpiles at between 120,000 to 150,000 projectiles of various ranges and payloads, up from roughly 10,000 in 2006.

“Thanks to martyrs’ sacrifices, the resistance has achieved all its victories,” Nasrallah stated.

“Netanyahu believes that the key of everything is power and not the occupation,” he continued. “His problem, though, is that we have the power. We will respond to any Israeli strike on Lebanon and will not accept any aggression by the enemy on our land.”
