Alert security forces outside of Bethlehem prevented another Palestinian terror attack on Sunday.

Officers guarding Rachel’s Tomb, located at the northern entrance of Bethlehem, prevented a terror attack Sunday morning when they discovered a pipe bomb in the parking lot.

The holy site marks the burial place of the matriarch Rachel and is often frequented by Jewish worshipers.

The officers sealed off the area until a sapper neutralized the threat, according to a police spokesperson.

There were no injuries or damage.
