A female Palestinian terrorist stabbed and lightly wounded an Israeli policeman as he was directing traffic on Route 90 in the Jordan Valley Thursday morning.

The policeman was directing traffic due to a fallen tree on the highway when the terrorist stabbed him in the back and lightly wounded him.

The terrorist, 14 years old, was arrested and taken to questioning.

The victim, 43, was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The recent Palestinian wave of violence is marked by an increased female role, with several teenage females driven to mostly suicidal attacks by incessant incitement by the Palestinian leadership.

A few hours before that, a Palestinian terrorist fired at a police vehicle in Samaria. One policeman was lightly wounded and the vehicle sustained several hits.

In the meantime, security forces are still searching for the terrorists who stabbed and wounded two IDF soldiers Wednesday night at the Israeli community of Har Bracha in Samaria.

Also, IDF forces operated in the Jabl Hindraza neighborhood at the outskirts of Bethlehem late Wednesday night to counter terrorism and incitement emanating from the neighborhood.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of almost daily Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of the past six months, claiming the lives of 32 victims and wounding over 360.
