The mother of Ziv Hajbi, a 35-year-old father of three who was killed Sunday in a terror attack at the Barkan Industrial Park in Samaria, called for the death penalty for her son’s murderer at his funeral in the southern community of Nir Israel.

“I want this person to die,” she said of the terrorist, 23-year-old Ashraf Walid Suleiman Na’alowa. “Why do I need to bury my son at age 35?”

Hundreds attended the funeral Monday afternoon, including relatives of Kim Levengrond Yehezkel, the other victim of the attack. Yehezel, a 28-year-old mother, was buried Sunday evening.

His brother Ori, who flew in for the funeral from the US, said the three brothers had planned an evening of bonding, “but not this kind.”

“I can’t imagine life without you,” his brother Itai said, recalling “so much joy…laughter and music.”

Hajbi’s father told Israel Radio earlier that his son had spontaneously decided to visit him on Saturday morning. “Apparently he came to say goodbye,” he said.

Hajbi’s grieving widow cried, “Help me to raise the children. We’ve been together 18 years, since we were 17 and half…my first and last love… I will love you forever.”

Both victims’ families donated their loved one’s organs to save lives.
