An Israeli tourist in Berlin has been missing since Monday night’s truck-ramming attack.

The search for Dalia Elyakim, an Israeli woman who went missing after the Christmas market attack in Berlin on Monday, is still underway.

The woman’s husband, Rami, 60, was seriously wounded and is hospitalized in Berlin.

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said Wednesday that the man is in stable condition following surgery, adding that Israel is in touch “day and night” with German authorities, trying to locate his wife.

Berlin has numerous hospitals that serve some four million people, so search parties for the woman have not given up hope of finding her alive.

However, the German B.Z.-Berlin news site reported that only seven of the 12 victims have been identified so far. The seven identified are German nationals, while the other five are tourists.

The couple was in Berlin on holiday. Their family  arrived in Germany on Tuesday to help in the search.

Berlin police are also searching for an Italian woman who disappeared after the attack. Her father told an Italian news site that the chances of finding her alive are slim.
