Trump: If we need to, we’ll bomb Iran again

President Donald Trump threatens to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities a second time should Tehran work to rebuild its uranium enrichment capacity.

By World Israel News Staff

President Donald Trump vowed he would order additional airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear program, should it be necessary to do so to prevent Tehran from reviving its efforts to obtain nuclear weapons.

The president took to social media Monday night, following the broadcast of Fox News‘ interview with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

In the interview, Araghchi acknowledged that Iran’s nuclear program was heavily damaged in the June 22 airstrikes, forcing a halt to uranium enrichment operations.

“It is stopped because, yes, damages are serious and severe,” Araghchi said.

However, Araghchi added that Iran will resume its enrichment efforts, calling it a matter of “national pride.”

“But obviously we cannot give up of enrichment because it is an achievement of our own scientists. And now, more than that, it is a question of national pride,” Araghchi continued. “Our enrichment is so dear to us.”

Writing on his Truth Social account, Trump boasted that the Iranian foreign minister’s comments confirmed his repeated claims that the B-2 bomber strikes “obliterated” Iran’s three most important nuclear facilities.

“Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, on the Iran Nuclear Sites: ‘Damages are very severe, they are destroyed.’ “Of course they are, just like I said.”

In a veiled response to Araghchi’s vow that Iran would rebuild its nuclear program and resume uranium enrichment, Trump said he would order additional airstrikes “if necessary” against Iranian nuclear sites.

“We will do it again, if necessary! As interviewed by Bret Baier. Fake News CNN should immediately fire their phony ‘reporter’ and apologize to me and the great pilots who ‘OBLITERATED’ Iran’s nuclear sites. CNN is a major ratings loser, as is MSDNC!”
