Weapons discovered inside one of Hezbollah’s underground terror tunnels offer a glimpse into the vast network the terror group built beneath Beaufort Ridge with Iranian backing. As IDF troops continue clearing the underground complex, soldiers have also uncovered maps illustrating the strategic advantage the ridge provided over northern Israeli communities.
The military says the operation was launched to eliminate a major Hezbollah threat, prevent attacks on northern Israel, and destroy the extensive tunnel infrastructure hidden beneath the mountain.
