WATCH: The silencing of Jewish suffering in Syria

Following the establishment of the Jewish state, the Jews of Syria suffered profoundly, contrary to a false image of prosperity and happiness portrayed by renowned CBS ’60 Minutes’ journalist Mike Wallace.

Through relentless determination and incredible grassroots advocacy, Canadian human rights activist Judy Feld Carr rescued 3,228 Jews from that country over a period of 28 years.

Each year on Nov. 30, the State of Israel observes Jewish Refugee Day, commemorating the 850,000 Jews from Arab lands who were forced to flee their homes.
