Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ‘lied’ Monday to the public when he went on television to reveal another secret Iranian nuclear weapons site, according to a tweet by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif Monday.

“The possessor of REAL nukes cries wolf – on an ALLEGED ‘demolished’ site in Iran,” Zarif tweeted, referring to Israel’s unannounced and unverified nuclear arsenal. “He & #B Team just want a war, no matter innocent blood & another $7 TRILLION.”

The “B team” is the standard mocking moniker Iran’s top diplomat has coined for President Trump’s hawkish National Security Adviser John Bolton, as well as top anti-Iranian U.S. allies Netanyahu and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

The $7 trillion number is likely Zarif’s take on what the United States has spent on wars in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan post-9/11 in its fight against Islamic terrorism.

According to a report by Brown University’s Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs last November, all the military actions have cost the American taxpayer somewhat less – $5.9 trillion.

The sharp response came immediately after Netanyahu’s revelation of the previously undisclosed nuclear site in southern Iran.

He presented evidence taken from the vast nuclear archives Israel’s Mossad smuggled out of Tehran in a daring operation last year, and said Iran “wiped out” the facility in reaction to its being exposed.

While Zarif was decrying his country’s accusers on Twitter, Iran’s ambassador to the U.N. went on the offensive at Monday’s General Assembly commemoration of the International Day Against Nuclear Tests.

Ambassador Majid Ravanchi slammed the U.S. for “irresponsible policies” as he quoted from the U.N.’s latest Nuclear Proliferation Report that the U.S. will not try to ratify the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and will resume nuclear bomb testing.

Speaking of “the noble objective of the total elimination of nuclear weapons,” Ravanchi specifically called out Israel, saying, “Israeli nuclear weapons continue to threaten the peace and security of the region and beyond.”
