‘Good Riddance’: Extremist commentators shamelessly mock Lindsey Graham’s death

Israeli leaders paid tribute to the longtime supporter of the Jewish state following his death.

Online commentators mocked the death of Sen. Lindsey Graham, Fox News reported, while President Donald Trump, American politicians and Israeli leaders praised the senator’s commitment to U.S. foreign policy and support for Israel.

Ana Kasparian of The Young Turks on the left and Nick Fuentes on the far-right each posted “good riddance” following news of Graham’s sudden death.

The Young Turks co-creator Cenk Uygur also ridiculed Graham’s foreign policy positions by imagining him continuing to advocate military action in the afterlife.

“Lindsey Graham has moved on to the next step in his journey, trying to convince Hades to attack Zeus and Poseidon,” Uygur said. “He says it’ll only take a couple of weeks and won’t require any ground troops. And there’s no way Poseidon can close the Strait.”

Former MSNBC analyst and Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt described Graham as a “lonely and unprincipled man who betrayed his country for power and his decency for attention” in a Substack post Sunday.

Left-wing streamer Hasan Piker responded “lmao” to a tribute highlighting Graham’s relationship with Israel.

Others remembered Graham for his work on American foreign policy, diligence and dry wit.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that Graham “was always working” and described the South Carolina senator as “a true American Patriot.”

“Lindsey will be greatly missed!!!” Trump wrote. “So sad!”

Graham spent the final week of his life discussing a plan to encourage normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia by November.

“Israel has lost one of its greatest friends. America has lost a great patriot. I have lost a beloved friend,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, adding that Graham viewed the security of Israel and the United States as inseparable.

President Isaac Herzog remembered Graham as a true friend who consistently supported Israel during its darkest and most complex hours.

Defense Minister Israel Katz said Graham’s repeated visits to Israel following the October 7 invasion represented an “extraordinary demonstration of solidarity and unwavering friendship.”
