Two separate impacts on Thursday resulted in injuries, one in Kiryat Shmona and the other in the northern town of Bi’ina.

Hezbollah fired roughly 130 rockets at northern Israel over Wednesday and Thursday, wounding four people and sending hundreds of thousands into shelters as the attacks coincided with the start of the Passover holiday, while Israeli forces struck dozens of sites in Lebanon linked to the Iran-backed group.

Two separate impacts on Thursday resulted in injuries, according to Magen David Adom. In Kiryat Shmona, a rocket strike on a building left a 34-year-old man and an 85-year-old man lightly wounded.

Later, in the northern town of Bi’ina, two men in their 30s and 40s were also lightly injured when another rocket hit.

Warning sirens were activated across wide areas of the north, including the Krayot suburbs near Haifa, prompting civilians to take cover during the holiday period.

The military said most incoming rockets were intercepted, while others were directed to fall in open areas “according to protocol.” No further injuries were reported.

Damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded at multiple locations.

Rescue services said an empty daycare facility in Nahariya was hit, while footage from the area showed broken windows and structural damage at a McDonald’s near Kibbutz Ma’ayan Baruch.

The rocket fire unfolded alongside continued missile launches by Iran toward Israel, including toward northern regions during the same time frame.

In response, the Israeli military said it struck dozens of Hezbollah sites in Lebanon.
