IDF posts demolition order on house of terrorist who killed Israeli father of two

The IDF notified the family of a Palestinian terrorist who killed an Israeli father of two that their house was slated for destruction.

The IDF on Monday notified the family of Palestinian terrorist Mohammed Yousef, who killed  an Israeli father of two, that their house was to be destroyed.

The IDF attached an order of demolition to the house. Yousef stabbed to death Yotam Ovadia, a resident of Adam, a Jewish community in the Binyamin region.

The military entered the household of the Yousefs and prepared it for demolition.

The IDF notified the family early Monday morning.

The Yousef family will have an opportunity now to appeal the IDF demolition, although the likelihood of overturning the decision is slim. The High Court of Justice does not normally get involved in these instances.

On July 26, Yousef, 17, from the Palestinian village of Kobar entered Adam and attacked two residents outside a park, before a third resident shot him dead.

Yousef stabbed father-of-two Yotam Ovadia, 31, in his upper torso killing him. He wounded a 58-year-old man as well.

The third Adam resident, 41-year-old Assaf Raviv, went outside to determine what was happening and, realizing an attack was occurring, shot dead the terrorist.

Raviv was stabbed and lightly injured during the event.
