A large display has been erected in the Iranian capital, featuring a map of central Israel and highlighting possible targets for future Iranian missile attacks on the Jewish state.
The mural was set up in Tehran’s Palestine Square and features a map, with Hebrew labels, of the greater Tel Aviv metropolitan area.
The display also includes AI-generated images of model missiles and suicide drones under the headline: “You start… we finish it!”
A red button with the word “FIRE” is also shown below the map.
Hebrew text on the top of the display reads: “Against a torrent of missiles, it is a small area!”
The unveiling of the display comes amid continued saber-rattling by senior Iranian officials.
On Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran would never surrender its “right” to enrich uranium, even if that position would ensure that war “is imposed on us.”
Speaking at a forum in Tehran, Araghchi said the regime was “not scared” of the American military buildup in the region. He emphasized that Iran will never agree to halt its uranium enrichment.
“Iran has paid a very heavy price for its peaceful nuclear program and for uranium enrichment. No one has the right to dictate our behavior,” he said.
The comments came two days after Araghchi met with White House special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff in Muscat, Oman, for the first round of direct negotiations between the two countries since the one-day American air campaign against Iran last June.
“Their military deployment in the region does not scare us,” Araghchi said after Witkoff visited the American aircraft carrier deployed in the Mideast, the USS Abraham Lincoln.
