Israel seizes cash designated for reconstruction of terrorist’s home

Israeli security forces seized $13,500 in cash donated by Hamas to rebuild the demolished home of a Palestinian terrorist who viciously murdered an Israeli woman.

Israeli security forces in a nighttime raid early Thursday seized $13,500 in cash donated by the Palestinian Hamas terror organization to rebuild the demolished home of a Palestinian terrorist who murdered an Israeli woman.

The funds were allegedly going to be used to rebuild Palestinian terrorist Morad Bader Abdullah Adais’ home.

He was arrested in January 2016 for the brutal murder of Dafna Meir, an Israeli mother of six, in her home in the southern Judean community of Otniel.

The terrorist, who was 15-years-old at the time of the murder, was incited to carry out the murder by Palestinian Authority (PA) television broadcasts depicting Israel as “killing Palestinian youth,” according to Israel’s Shin Bet security agency.

Authorities believe he chose Otniel because of its proximity to his village. Meir’s house was the first one he saw when he entered the community. The teen was arrested by the IDF two days after fatally stabbing Meir in front of her eldest daughter.

Adais was sentenced to life in prison by a military court in November 2016. He was also fined NIS 1.75 M in damages.

In their ruling, the judges emphasized the unusual brutality and cold-bloodedness in which the terrorist committed his act, and recommended that he not be released in the future under any circumstance, a rare recommendation on their part.

In additional raids conducted Wednesday night, Israeli security forces also seized thousands of dollars held by a Hamas-affiliated charity and arrested eight Palestinian security suspects for crimes related to violent rioting and terror
