An Israeli Special Forces unit early Tuesday morning arrested the Palestinian terrorist who murdered Dafna Meir at Otniel on Sunday.

He was turned over to the Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency) for further questioning.

Meir, a mother of six, was stabbed to death by the terrorist at the entrance to her home.

Her daughter, who witnessed the murder, said the terrorist fled after murdering her mother because he could not extract the knife from her and continue with his murderous attack.

Palestinian sources named the terrorist as Murad Bader Abdullah Adais, 16 years old.

There are reports that the terrorist was turned in by residents of the village he was hiding in.

In wake of Sunday’s attack and Monday’s attack in which a 17 year old Palestinian stabbed and wounded a pregnant Israeli woman in Tekoa, the IDF has decided to ban the entry of Palestinian workers into Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria.

The ban applies only on Arab entry into residential areas and not on industrial areas.

“In light of daily situation assessments and following recent terror attacks, security measures have been taken in the Judea and Samaria region,” an IDF spokesperson announced.

IDF Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division Brigadier General Lior Carmeli instructed civilians in the region to carry their personal rifles at all times.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of almost daily Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of the past four months, claiming the lives of 28 victims and wounding over 280.
