The US dramatically expanded its campaign overnight, striking targets around Tehran, Semnan—home to Iran’s ballistic missile program—and Bandar Abbas, the regime’s main naval hub on the Strait of Hormuz. Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz also fell sharply after Tehran declared the waterway closed, raising fears of a major disruption to global energy supplies.
