Overnight: Trump weighs ground assault on Iran as US strikes intensify

The US dramatically expanded its campaign overnight, striking targets around Tehran, Semnan—home to Iran’s ballistic missile program—and Bandar Abbas, the regime’s main naval hub on the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM said the seven-hour operation targeted command centers, air defenses, missile and drone sites.
