“This revelation ends the charade that the Palestine Solidarity Campaign is a peaceful advocacy group,” says Jewish watchdog group.

An anti-Israel group based in the United Kingdom obtained permission for a demonstration against the Jewish state on October 7th, 2023, according to a bombshell report.
British news outlet The Telegraph revealed last week that an organizer from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign called London police on October 7th, while Hamas terrorists were still rampaging through southern Israel, committing atrocities including rape and the slaughter of children and the elderly.
The representative reportedly informed the police that it would hold an anti-Israel demonstration scheduled for exactly a week later, on October 14th.
The phone call was made while the Hamas onslaught was still ongoing, long before Israel responded to the invasion or acted in any way against the Gaza-based terror organization.
“The Met was contacted on Saturday, Oct. 7 at approximately 12:50 p.m., via telephone call and informed of the intention to protest,” a police spokesperson told The Telegraph in response to a Freedom of Information request made by the outlet.
“The Met committed this to our systems on the same day and are satisfied being contacted by telephone was a sufficient means in which to notify the MPS, as the event was taking place seven days after notification.”
Speaking to the Telegraph, a spokesman for the Palestine Solidarity Campaign claimed that they were justified in organizing the protest while Hamas was massacring Israelis due to the expected response by Israel towards the terror group.
As early as October 7th, as Israel was scrambling to organize troops and save southern communities that had been invaded by terrorists, it was “already clear” that Israel would retaliate with “indiscriminate violence,” the representative told the outlet.
The spokesman also charged that anyone questioning the timing of the protest was trying to “deflect attention from the crimes against humanity that Israel has committed.”
A Jewish advocacy group said that the report proved that anti-Israel demonstrations in the UK are motivated by support for terror and Jew-hatred rather than their stated goals of protesting the actions of the Israeli government.
“This revelation ends the charade that the Palestine Solidarity Campaign is a peaceful advocacy group,” the Campaign Against Antisemitism watchdog group told the Daily Mail.
“For 16 months, the Metropolitan Police has allowed regular anti-Israel marches by a group that rushed to activism while Jews were being slaughtered,” they added.
