Influencer Brett Cooper tells Jewish congressman to move to Israel, defends Nick Fuentes

Texas Senator Ted Cruz brushes off criticism from right-wing Gen Z influencer Brett Cooper after denouncing white supremacist and Hitler apologist Nick Fuentes as a “little Nazi.”

Right-wing podcaster and Fox News contributor Brett Cooper came under fire this week after she defended a pro-Nazi influencer and told a Jewish congressman to “move to Israel.”

Cooper, 24, previously hosted a show on The Daily Wire targeting Gen Z viewers before splitting with the conservative media outlet in December 2024.

On Tuesday, Cooper took aim at an event hosted by the Republican Jewish Coalition over the weekend that focused heavily on anti-Israel and antisemitic elements on the populist right, including podcaster and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and white supremacist and pro-Hitler online influencer Nick Fuentes, who was interviewed by Carlson recently.

During the RJC event, Senator Ted Cruz expressed support for President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb three Iranian nuclear facilities during the June war between Israel and Iran, prompting Fuentes to write on X: “Don’t let the $7k Club gaslight you into thinking that their attacks on Tucker Carlson and me are about ‘antisemitism.'”

A day later, Cruz fired back: “Trump’s bombing the Ayatollah’s nuclear facilities made the little Nazi mad. Good.”

On her show Tuesday, Cooper excoriated Cruz and accused him of hypocrisy, comparing his online dust-up with Fuentes to left-wing rhetoric Cruz himself had criticized recently.

“They don’t kill you because you’re a Nazi; they call you a Nazi so they can kill you. Political violence is a left-wing phenomenon. Enough is enough — we need to shut it down,” Cruz wrote after the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

“You are so blinded by your ridiculous, insane hatred of Tucker Carlson that you cannot see how irresponsible and hypocritical you are being,” Cooper said of Cruz.

“So now you are turning around and calling somebody that you don’t like a Nazi. You are doing this out of blind rage because you are so angry that the conservative base’s attitudes are rapidly changing, that Nick Fuentes is getting national attention.

“So you have turned around, and in response, you are compromising your own values in anger, which is such a dangerous precedent to set.”

On Wednesday, Cruz responded to Cooper on X, calling her an “angry lady” and noting that she failed to mention that Fuentes has identified himself publicly and repeatedly with Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

“I don’t know who this angry lady is, but she’s missing a key distinction: Fuentes CALLS HIMSELF a Nazi. He has said ‘Hitler is very cool.’ ‘Hitler was right.’ And he is on ‘Team Hitler.’ If you explicitly side with & advocate for Hitler…you are an actual f***ing Nazi.”

Cooper also blasted Republican Florida Congressman Randy Fine, urging him to leave the US for Israel over his push for legislation aimed at combating antisemitism.

“He has repeatedly introduced bills to criminalize antisemitism, infringing on free speech. I mean he… obviously cares more about Israel than he does about principles like free speech. So, buddy, like, my advice to you, Randy Fine, is just move to Israel at this point.

“You could be over there singing songs with Mike Huckabee.”

Prior to winning his seat in the US House of Representatives in a special election this year, Fine was involved in the passage of several state measures aimed at curbing antisemitism, including the 2019 CS/CS/HB 741, which required public schools to treat antisemitism the same as racism.

Other measures Fine was involved in included bills increasing the penalties for antisemitic vandalism and ensuring universities assess course materials for antisemitic content.

After he took office in the House this April, Fine has introduced legislation which would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to ensure Jewish students receive the same legal protections from discrimination as racial minorities receive.

Cooper’s comments received praise from Fuentes, who posted a clip from her Tuesday show, writing: “DailyWire alum Brett Cooper says Randy Fine should move to Israel because he cares more about Israel than Free Speech.

“We are never going back to the way things used to be. Enough is enough. America First.”
