Hamas has not told Israel which hostages are living or dead, despite promise to do so by second week of truce.

Hamas has not given Israel a list of the remaining hostages specifying their health status, marking the second time the terror group has failed to abide by the terms of the ceasefire in days.
According to the truce, Hamas is required to provide Israel with critical information about the hostages, including whether they are living, dead, or experiencing life-threatening health issues, by the end o the second week of the ceasefire.
Israel had requested the list before ceasefire came into effect, but Hamas claimed that it needed a break in the fighting in order to obtain that information about the hostages.
However, even after the second batch of Israeli hostages and Palestinian terrorists were freed, Hamas has not held up its end of the agreement.
On Saturday, Hamas released four female soldiers who had been held captive in the Strip since October 2023, in exchange for the release of 200 Palestinian prisoners, 120 of which were murderers serving life sentences.
However, Hamas did not release Arbel Yehud, who is believed to be the last living female civilian hostage held in the Strip.
While Israel welcomed the return of the female soldiers, Jerusalem stressed that Hamas had violated the ceasefire by failing to return Yehud.
Hamas claimed that Yehud is being held by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group, which had decided to categorize her as a “soldier” due to the fact that she underwent training as pat of Israel’s space program at some point in her life.
Under the terms of the agreement, Israel releases a larger number of prisoners for soldiers, and a smaller number for civilians.
Because of Hamas’ violations of the truce, Israel is not allowing displaced Gazan civilians to return to their homes in the northern Strip.
The Israeli government has said it will not grant them permission to do so until Yehud is freed.
