A Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab IDF soldiers at a security checkpoint in Samaria on Monday. He was shot and wounded by the troops during the attempted attack.

No Israelis were harmed in the attack.

The terrorist was evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera by an Israeli medical team.

In the meantime, the IDF continued with its counter-terror operations late Sunday night and early Monday morning.

An IDF unit mapped the home of  Ali Mahmad Akab Mahmad from the village of Jadeida, south of Jenin in Samaria in preparation for its demolition. Mahmad attempted to stab IDF soldiers on Saturday in a Jordan Valley security checkpoint.

In a separate operation, the military raided the offices of the Kutla organization in Ramallah, an illegal group linked to the Hamas terror organization. The soldiers seized incitement materials and equipment used in riots.

In another raid in the Palestinian village of Itrach, south of Tul-Karem, IDF forces found a handgun, an M16 assault rifle, lots of ammunition and military equipment.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of almost daily Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of the past three-and-a-half months, claiming the lives of 27 victims and wounding over 280.
