The forces, working with Israel’s police and the Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency), also confiscated electronic equipment and a vehicle. The TV station serves as a Hamas mouthpiece. Israel has been operating to shut down Palestinian media outlets and publications that incite against Israelis and promote terror attacks.Israel maintains that one of the driving forces behind Palestinian terrorism is incitement by the Palestinian leadership and clergy through its state and local media.Local Palestinian reacted to the arrests by rioting.
