On Saturday, the IDF announced that air defenses intercepted two out of three missiles launched at Israel from the Gaza Strip.

There have been no reports of injuries and no Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the rocket fire.

Cross-border violence between Israel and Palestinian terrorists in Gaza has ebbed and flowed in recent years. Last month, the two sides fought their worst round of violence in months.

Leaders from Hamas, the terror group ruling Gaza, and the smaller but more radical Islamic Jihad are in Cairo, talking with Egyptian officials about cementing a cease-fire.

The latest round of rocket fire arrives a little more a week after the last missile attacks from Gaza.

During that incident, terrorists fired a rocket into southern Israel in the evening.

In response, Israeli aircraft struck a vacant training site for Hamas.

While Hamas cancelled weekly border riots for three weeks straight week, the resumed the regular Friday rioting this week.
