Security scandal: IAF officer accused of gambling with classified intel

An Israeli Air Force officer accused of using classified military information to bet on Polymarket claimed during questioning that “the entire Israel Air Force is involved in gambling” on similar platforms.

Prosecutors say the officer endangered national security by allegedly leaking sensitive operational information for financial gain, warning he showed a willingness to “sell information” at the expense of military operations and pilots’ safety.

The court rejected his request for house arrest and called for a separate investigation into his broader claims about gambling inside the Air Force.
