The White House announced on Monday that President Donald Trump will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Feb. 15 in Washington.“Our relationship with the only democracy in the Middle East is crucial to the security of both our nations, and the president looks forward to discussing continued strategic, technological, military and intelligence cooperation with the prime minister,” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said regarding the meeting.Trump had invited Netanyahu for an upcoming visit in their first conversation, over the telephone, after the president’s inauguration into the White House.Netanyahu is expected to address several issues in his upcoming visit, including Israel’s policy in Judea and Samaria as well as the threat of a nuclear Iran. “In my coming meeting in Washington with President Trump, I plan to raise the issue of renewing sanctions against Iran in relation to this and other things,” Netanyahu said on Monday after a reported ballistic missile test by Iran.“I deeply appreciate President Trump’s kind invitation to come to Washington and the warm words about Israel.
