Turning Point USA, a conservative advocacy group focused on college campuses, hosted a three-day conference this week in Washington, D.C. for young Jewish leaders.

On Wednesday, the last day of the conference, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s son Yair addressed the group.

Though the Young Jewish Leaders Summit had a wide range of speakers, 27-year-old Yair was one of the youngest.

Yair is known for his right-wing views, controversial style and online quarrels with political opponents.

In May, Yair posted a tweet that garnered attention from news publications worldwide.

He wrote, “Dear Arabs. You have all the green. We have the little red dot. And u call us colonizers? B4 the 7 century Arabs were only in Arabia! All the Middle East was Greek and Christian with Jews living in Judea. You are the colonizers!”

In December 2018, Facebook briefly blocked his account based on accusations that he had made anti-Muslim statements.

Turning Point USA gained a name for itself based on its advocacy of U. S. President Donald Trump, and the conference featured a number of his vocal supporters.

Among those supporters was Elizabeth Pipko, who serves as spokeswoman for Jexodus, which aims to direct Jewish millennials away from the Democratic Party.

Some of the more seasoned presenters at the D.C. conference included Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, known for his books about Judaism and his connections to celebrities, conservative radio host and author Dennis Prager, and Sebastian Gorka, a British-born Hungarian-American military and intelligence analyst who served as a deputy assistant to Trump.

The conference was closed to media.
