‘Fox & Friends’ host Pete Hegseth has been suspended from Twitter after posting a screenshot of part of the manifesto from the shooter who killed three people and wounded two others at a U.S. Navy base in Florida.

The manifesto called the U.S. “a nation of evil,” Agence France-Presse reports.

“I don’t hate you because your freedoms, I hate you because every day you supporting, funding and committing crimes not only against Muslims but also humanity,” the manifesto said.

On Friday, Saudi-born Mohammed Alshamrani opened fire in a classroom building at the U.S. Navy base in Pensacola, Florida. He was shot dead after killing three people and wounding two sheriff’s deputies.

The victims have been identified as Joshua Kaleb Watson, a 23-year-old graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy; Airman Mohammed Sameh Haitham, 19, of St. Petersburg, Florida, who joined the Navy after graduating from high school last year; and Airman Apprentice Cameron Scott Walters, 21, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, reports the AP.

The FBI said in a statement on Sunday that the attack is being investigated as an act of terrorism.

The statement also said that they have obtained surveillance videos as well as cellphone footage taken by a bystander outside the building,

On Monday, Hegseth reacted to Twitter’s decision on Fox News.

“I simply posted the words of the terrorist who killed three Americans in a terrorist attack – yet I’m violating the Twitter policy on terrorism and therefore I am banned?” he asked. “If we live in a country where we can’t know why people attack us and why they did it, why are we here?”

Hegseth said that as a veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, he understands the ideology of Islamic extremists.

“I served in Iraq and Afghanistan, I guarded these guys at Guantanamo Bay. I know what they want to do to us. If we can’t share that with the American people… then we’re going to get the false narrative of the P.C. folks from Silicon Valley every single day of the week,” he said.
