Palestinian terrorist wounds 3 policemen in attack

Palestinians show no signs of scaling back the frequency, or ferocity, of their attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers.

A Palestinian terrorist wounded three Israeli policemen in a vehicular attack near the Palestinian town of Beit Umar in Gush Etzion on Sunday.

The terrorist sped with his vehicle towards the Border Policemen who were on a routine patrol. He hit and lightly wounded three of the unit’s members, while the remaining members fired at the terrorist and killed him.

The three victims were evacuated to a hospital with injuries to their limbs.

Palestinian sources named the terrorist as Khaled Ahmad Ahalil, 23.

Shortly before this attack, Palestinian terrorists wounded a five-year-old Israeli boy when they pelted the car he was riding in with rocks, on the road to the Israeli community of Tekoa.

The boy suffered light wounds from glass shards and was taken for treatment in a Jerusalem hospital.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks which have plagued Israelis over the course of more than a year, claiming the lives of 41 victims and wounding over 550.
