Palestinians in Samaria copy Gazans’ ‘fire kite’ terror

After thousands of acres have been destroyed by arson kites and balloons in the south near Gaza, Palestinians in Samaria are copying these terror tactics.

Residents of the Samaria communities Yitzhar and Har Bracha reported that “fire kites” and “fire balloons” were seen flying in the sky, according to a report by Hakol Hayehudi.

In Har Bracha, one of the “fire kites” landed in the Tura grape vineyard. Residents and security personnel arrived on the scene. The flammable substance attached to the kite did not ignite a fire.

Here is a video of a balloon sent in the direction of Havat Gilad in Samaria:

Meanwhile, a resident of Yitzhar reported that she saw above her house a “fire balloon” floating from the west to the east. Eventually, the balloon landed east of Yitzhar, between the neighboring Palestinian villages of Huwara and Awarta.

A few weeks ago a fire broke out near Havat Gilad in Samaria as a result of a balloon that apparently was launched from Awarta.

On Saturday, an incendiary balloon landed in Beersheba, the second in the past two weeks.
