Acclaimed Israeli author Amos Oz dead at 70

“What do we do to one another? It’s the one and only subject of literature, if you really have to squeeze it in a nutshell,” declared celebrated Israeli author Amos Oz, who passed away on Friday at the age of 79.

Oz, a prolific writer, was a proponent of the two-state solution.
