Security forces are tightening control over major routes in the Hebron area after a car-ramming attack near Kiryat Arba.

A Palestinian terrorist driving along Route 60 struck an Israeli woman standing at the Yehuda Junction and then fled toward Hebron. The victim sustained light injuries.

According to updated assessments, the terrorist was likely hit by IDF gunfire as he escaped. Forces continue searching nearby villages for the attacker.

The IDF Spokesperson said troops were dispatched immediately after receiving the alert. “The force returned fire,” the spokesperson confirmed. “IDF troops are now conducting extensive searches for the terrorist.”

Large IDF and police units remain deployed across the area, closing central roads and carrying out wide sweeps until the terrorist is located.

This is a developing story.
