Palestinian terrorist stabs Israeli policeman during Trump visit

A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and lightly wounded a police officer in Netanya while Trump was visiting Israel.

A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and lightly wounded a police officer in the coastal city of Netanya on Tuesday, as President Donald Trump was on a visit in Israel.

The terrorist, 45 from Samaria, was shot and moderately wounded.

The victim, 26, sustained wounds to his upper body and was evacuated to a hospital for treatment.

A female bystander was lightly wounded from a ricochet.

Israel’s Ynet news quoted witnesses who said the terrorist shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.

Allahu Akbar — Arabic for “God is greater” — is a phrase often used by Muslim terrorists during attacks.

This attack comes just hours after Border Police officers in Jerusalem thwarted a stabbing attack in Abu Dis, a Jerusalem Arab neighborhood, on Monday.

A Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab the Israeli forces at a guard post and was subsequently shot by the police.

The terrorist succumbed to his wounds. No Israelis were injured in the incident.

These attacks are the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of more than a year, claiming the lives of 47 victims and wounding over 650.
