Report: Israel to approve massive construction in Judea and Samaria

Israel is set to approve the construction of almost 4,000 new homes in Judea and Samaria.

Israel is reportedly set to approve construction for almost 4,000 new homes in Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria next week.

According to a report by Israel’s Channel 2 news, the 3,829 units are slated to be built in various areas throughout the region, including Hebron and Beit El.

In a meeting with leaders from Judea and Samaria two weeks ago, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that President Donald Trump, who hopes to bring about an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement, was willing to accept limited Israeli building in the region, Times of Israel reported.

Israel has approved the construction of thousands of residential units in Judea and Samaria since Trump took office last January, but has yet to execute the plans.
